All 9 rooms take their names from the list of past incumbents of
Crosthwaite Parish church, starting with Edward Whitelock who was
vicar from 1569 - 1572 through to Thomas Heelis who came to St Mary’s
in 1900.
Although each room is individually designed they all have flat screen TV’s, Roberts Revival Radios and adjoining bathrooms with underfloor heated Limestone floors, free standing roll topped baths and separate powerful showers. |

 Occupying the whole of the third floor of the Inn, open to the eaves throughout, this enormous room with its massive bed, wall mounted flat screen TV, themed lighting and adjoining bathroom with twin roll top baths and basins is a spectacular place to stay.  Hand blocked Farrow & Ball wallpaper, silk curtains and corona and it’s dramatic high ceiling make this a stunning room in which to stay.    Danson is spacious and warm, luxurious and homely with a king size bed and large windows from which to enjoy the views across the valley.  A very spacious room, with a super-king sized bed. Hebblewhite has a neutral and fresh theme for the decor but with splashes of raspberry red for warmth. Hebblewhite can be used as a twin room.    Peake is a cosy, light room with a standard double bed and ample soft furnishings in fresh green and turquoise. Peake has views across the churchyard and down the Lyth Valley.  With their reclaimed elm four poster beds, bedside tables and huge mirrors these rooms are more contemporary in feel and enjoy uninterrupted views down the valley.
