FINDING USFrom North: Take the A591 south from Ambleside, to Windermere. At the mini roundabout take the A592 to Bowness. In Bowness at the mini roundabout continue across, then first left onto the A5074. Follow Lyth Valley and Lancaster signs through Winster village. After 2 miles, at the sharp right-hand bend, turn left for Crosthwaite. Go through the village and continue past the school. We're on the right.
From South: Take junction 36 off the M6, heading towards Kendal on the A590. Take the first exit off the A590 towards Barrow. At the roundabout take the 1st exit towards Barrow on the A590, after 2.5 miles turn right onto the A5074. After approx 3.5 miles, take the first right after the Lyth Valley Hotel. At the top of the lane turn left and we’re on the left. |

2) Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Yes
3) Can we bring our children?
Children and babies are most welcome. In the restaurant we have high chairs and a children's menu. For hotel guests, we can provide a travel cot for infants or small Z-beds for children if notified in advance.
4) Can we bring our dog?
We do have 2 x dog-friendly tables in our bar area. We would always recommend making a reservation.
5) Should we book dinner or can we just decide when we get here?
We recommend you book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
6) Can you provide for specific dietary requirements such as gluten free?
Yes, please call in advance, so we can ensure we have any special ingredients in.
7) What food hygiene measures do you have in place?
We follow all food hygiene guidance provided by the Food Standards Agency as a minimum requirement and maintain a 5-star Health and Safety rating from the Environmental Health Office. In addition, our team have all received health and safety training specific to Covid-19.
8) Are there any nice walks from the hotel?
Yes, there are several, please just ask at reception for more information.
9) Is there anywhere to park my car?
Yes, we have a spacious car park.
10) What is your cancellation policy?
For tables, cancellation or any changes to the number of guests must be made at least 24 hours prior to your booking to avoid a cancellation fee of £20.00 per person.
For rooms, cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the arrival date of your booking.
