The Punch Bowl FarmWe’re all about using the freshest, most local and seasonal ingredients to deliver the best tasting dishes! In fact, it’s likely that we use more of our own ingredients than any other pub or hotel in Cumbria and that’s thanks to having our own farm in the village. Here we produce damsons, rhubarb, beetroot, artichokes, micro herbs, lettuces, carrots and of course Cumbrian lamb – just a few examples! We also love ‘all things wild’, gathering watercress, sorrel, blackberries, elderflower and hazelnuts, depending on the season.

Dining Areas
The Punch Bowl offers a traditional bar, formal & informal restaurants and a terrace with the same menu throughout. From the bar, craft beers and an extensive range of wines are available. Through to the more casual dining area there are comfy sofas in front of a real wood fire. The formal restaurant has a more contemporary feel with an interesting display of cognacs and spirits are on show. Outside honey suckle rambles the walls of a sunny terrace with canopies and heaters, so you can enjoy the outdoors come rain or shine.
